An inquiry has commenced at a hospital after a man and a woman sustained injuries, prompted by concerns for their safety. Police were summoned to the East Atrium at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Thursday at 13:30 GMT. Information regarding the occurrence has not been disclosed, and the injuries to the man and woman are not considered life-threatening. Lesley Dwyer, the chief executive of the hospital trust, stated, “The health and safety of everyone in our hospital is an absolute priority and we will take prompt action if further safety measures are identified and required as a result of this incident and ongoing investigations.” She further added, “We’d like to thank our staff who gave assistance and cared for the two people injured and we are supporting those who have been affected by this incident.” Law enforcement officials indicated they departed the scene at approximately 18:00 GMT.
