Harlequins hooker Sam Riley has signed a new contract with the Premiership club. The 23-year-old, who progressed through the club’s academy, has accumulated 60 appearances for the team, scoring seven tries. Last season, Riley notably scored the match-winning try that secured a 28-24 victory over Glasgow Warriors, leading Harlequins to the European Champions Cup quarter-finals. “I’ve been here since I was 15, so it was an easy decision for me to extend my contract,” Riley told the club’s website. “I’ve really enjoyed the last few seasons and I’m excited for what’s to come.” In the past two weeks, vice-captain Cadan Murley, scrum-half Will Porter, winger Cassius Cleaves, full-back Tyrone Green, and flanker Will Evans have also finalized new agreements. The club has not disclosed the duration of these new contracts. Harlequins are set to resume Premiership action with a home fixture against Bristol Bears on Friday.
