Harlequins’ full-back, Tyrone Green, has finalized a contract extension at Twickenham Stoop, making him the most recent player to commit his future to the club. Green has accumulated 25 tries for Harlequins since his arrival in 2020. The 26-year-old South African athlete has recorded 25 tries across 79 matches since joining Harlequins from Lions in 2020. He was part of the squad that secured the Premiership title in his inaugural season. This follows recent contract renewals by other team members, including Quins vice-captain Cadan Murley and scrum-half Will Porter, who signed new agreements last week. Winger Cassius Cleaves also formalized an extension on Tuesday. Expressing his satisfaction, Green stated on the Harlequins website: “I’m happy here, so it was an easy decision. The boys are great and my family is settled, it feels like a second home.” Green has participated in two matches in the quarters during the current season. The specific duration of his new contract has not been disclosed by Harlequins.
