Harlequins advanced to third place in the Premiership Women’s Rugby table following a 34-19 victory over Bristol Bears. Wales international Alex Callender was one of the players who scored a try for Harlequins. The home side initially took an early lead through a try by Millie David. However, Harlequins rallied, with tries from Lauren Torley and Ellie Kildunne, to establish a 20-19 advantage by the conclusion of a closely contested first half. Following the interval, the two teams remained closely matched until the visiting Harlequins eventually penetrated the Bristol defence, securing a try courtesy of Carys Phillips. This score extended Quins’ lead to 27-19. The victory was then finalized when Alex Callender scored another try, which Lagi Tuima successfully converted. This win marked Harlequins’ third of the current season and resulted in them surpassing Bristol Bears in the league standings.
