For creative guidance, tips from three of England’s Big Picture photographers are available. When emailing photographs, specific information must be included. While all submissions are accepted, images captured within the past week are more likely to be featured. An archive of pictures is accessible on Instagram, using the hashtags #bbcsouthnews, #HampshiresBigPicture, and #IsleofWightsBigPicture. Submitting a picture signifies adherence to the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. By contributing to Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture, individuals grant a “royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media worldwide.” It is important to note that contributors retain copyright to their submissions for Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture.
