The BBC invites individuals to daily appreciate the scenic beauty of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, showcased through submitted photographs. Contributions can be made through BBC Weather Watchers or by emailing southweather@bbc.co.uk. Instructions for image submission are provided: photographs can be uploaded via BBC Weather Watchers or sent to southweather@bbc.co.uk. For creative guidance, participants can consult advice from three of England’s Big Picture photographers. When submitting images via email, specific accompanying information is required. Although all submissions are accepted, there is a higher likelihood of using photographs captured within the preceding week. An archive of previously featured images is accessible on Instagram, identifiable by the hashtags #bbcsouthnews, #HampshiresBigPicture, and #IsleofWightsBigPicture. Image submissions are subject to the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. By contributing to Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture, individuals grant the BBC a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and utilize the material as deemed appropriate, across all media platforms globally.
