Guernsey Post has projected it will handle 540,000 parcels this month as it gears up for the busy Christmas period. The postal service reported a 7% increase in seasonal parcel volumes compared to the same timeframe last year, making it the busiest year on record to date. Guernsey Post indicated that, in addition to the customary heightened activity during the festive season, the rise in volume is also attributed to the launch of a new service called myUKaddress. This service enables island residents to order products from retailers that do not offer direct shipping to them. Gregg Stuart, head of operations at Guernsey Post, affirmed that the service is “ready to tackle the challenges” of the holiday season. He further stated, “With four additional Christmas casuals joining us in November and our teams working tirelessly, despite weather disruptions to boat schedules, we’re confident in our ability to deliver.” Post navigation Odeon to Take Over Closing Cineworld Venues Pub Landlord Faces Financial Uncertainty Following Lorry Collision
