Over 5,000 individuals have registered for the Guernsey electoral roll within the initial four days of its availability. The States of Guernsey had encouraged residents to enroll in preparation for the general election scheduled for 2025. The election is set for 18 June, allowing those listed on the roll to cast votes for as many as 38 candidates. According to a spokesperson for the States, the registration cutoff date is 30 April, and the procedure requires under five minutes to complete. Colette Falla, the registrar general of electors, stated: “It’s important to remember that everyone who wants to vote in next year’s general election must register on the electoral roll, as it’s a new roll.” She added: “We will continue to encourage people to register online but paper registration forms have been delivered to all households this week should people want to register that way.” Post navigation Prime Minister Pledges Support for Child’s Return to Belfast from Lebanon Derby City Council Considers Outsourcing Leisure Facility Management
