Georginio Rutter, a forward for Brighton, has spoken about his adjustment to Amex Stadium. This follows Brighton’s away victory against Bournemouth, achieved despite playing with ten men, which marked their strongest start to a top-tier season. In a post-match interview with BBC Radio Sussex, Rutter expressed his surprise at how rapidly he has adapted to his new team, stating, “When you change club, you often need more time but I have started very quickly here.” He added, “The adaptation was quick and good, so I’m happy.” Rutter further indicated his belief that the upcoming Christmas schedule offers an opportunity for both him and his fellow players to sustain their momentum in the league competition. He emphasized the significance of the immediate future, saying, “I think this next period is the most important.” Rutter continued, “The season is long and we have to take the maximum amount of points, then we can see at the end.” He also highlighted the players’ responsibility: “We, as the players, have to work our bodies cleverly, recover well and get ready for the next games.” Brighton, known as ‘The Seagulls’, currently holds the fifth position in the league standings, with only goal difference separating them from the spots that qualify for the Champions League.
