Police have reported that two men were taken into custody on suspicion of murder following an incident in a York house where one man died and two other individuals sustained injuries. North Yorkshire Police stated that officers were dispatched to an address on Vyner Street, located in the Haxby Road area of the city, at 19:20 GMT on Saturday. Among those arrested are a man in his 20s and a man in his 30s, both from the York area, on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a woman in her 30s and a man in his 60s have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Detective Superintendent Fran Naughton confirmed that additional patrols were being conducted in the vicinity subsequent to the incident. One of the men discovered at the property, who was in his 20s and from the Bradford area, was transported to a hospital where he later passed away. The other man was also taken to hospital, and police indicated he was in a stable condition. The woman received treatment for her injuries at the scene. A police cordon remained in place at the address on Monday.
