A disused theme park has been converted into a “scare city” in preparation for Halloween. The site, previously known as Camelot and located near Chorley, Lancashire, was revamped by the events company One Events, creating a “horror experience” populated by ghouls and ghosts. The original theme park, situated at Charnock Richard, ceased operations 12 years ago and has now resumed activity, offering seasonal attractions and scares. Paul Butterworth of One Events noted that individuals familiar with the park have returned for the attraction, which features numerous “jump scares”.
