An ex-Metropolitan Police officer has admitted guilt to charges related to capturing indecent images of a 16-year-old female. Alec Radosavljevic, aged 22, faced accusations of capturing 43 indecent images, with seven classified as Category A – the most serious type – during the period from March 18 to May 8 of last year. During proceedings at Southwark Crown Court, it was disclosed that the teenager was his girlfriend, and the images were described as “intimate photographs taken on his phone either by him or by her.” Radosavljevic, whose residence is in Camden, received bail and is scheduled for sentencing at the aforementioned court on January 31. Campaspe Lloyd-Jacob, representing the defense, stated that the girl had been “a willing party” to the images and had maintained an “enduring relationship” with Radosavljevic. At a brief plea hearing held on Wednesday, Radosavljevich confessed to five charges of taking indecent images of children and one charge of making indecent images of children. He had previously been assigned to the Metropolitan Police’s West Area Basic Command Unit and was suspended from his responsibilities prior to his dismissal.
