The Football Association has charged Blackpool’s assistant manager, Steve Agnew, with misconduct. Agnew has a history of working alongside Steve Bruce at five different clubs. The charge stems from an incident that took place in the 93rd minute of Blackpool’s 2-1 triumph against Shrewsbury Town, where Agnew was sent off for kicking the ball away. The allegation against him states he acted in an “improper manner,” and he has been granted until 10 December to provide his response. The victory marked the first time the Seasiders had won back-to-back league games since September.
