Fleetwood defender Harrison Holgate, who had made nine appearances this season, is set to be sidelined for up to a year. This follows the 24-year-old undergoing surgery for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. Holgate sustained the injury during September’s EFL Cup defeat against Stoke City. Manager Charlie Adam expressed his disappointment on the club’s website, stating, “We are all gutted for him as his start to the season was excellent.” Adam further praised Holgate, adding, “He’s one of the most professional players you could ever wish to work with and we are confident he will make a full recovery and be a big player for us in the future.” Post navigation Derby County Defender Eiran Cashin Sidelined Until New Year Enzo Maresca Addresses Chelsea’s Title Hopes, Squad Depth, and Enzo Fernandez’s Status
