A collision involving a lorry and a car near Wadebridge has resulted in injuries to five individuals. The Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the incident, which occurred on the A389 at St Issey, was reported at 08:33 GMT. The fire service stated that no occupants were trapped within the vehicles. However, five individuals were transported to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, suffering “with broken bones but not life-threatening injuries”. Firefighters from Padstow, along with officers from Devon and Cornwall Police, responded to the location. Although an air ambulance was present, the injured parties were conveyed to the hospital via land ambulance.
