A total of five individuals were taken into custody at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium during the period spanning August 2023 through the previous month. In response to a Freedom of Information request, Dorset Police disclosed that as of November 2024, none of these five individuals had faced prosecution. The police force specified that one arrest involved an individual accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, while another person was apprehended for being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Both of these individuals had been released from bail, but their cases were still under investigation as of the previous month. Separately, one individual apprehended for entering a playing area during a football match and another detained for using threatening, abusive, or insulting words with intent were both on conditional bail in November. Regarding a fifth arrest, the individual taken into custody for assault by beating was informed that no additional police action would be pursued. Bournemouth, known as The Cherries, currently holding eighth position in the Premier League standings, are scheduled to play against West Ham at the Vitality Stadium on Monday, with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.
