Five Apprehended Following Fatal Stabbing Incident

Five individuals have been apprehended in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man. Paul Foster, aged 47, succumbed to his injuries in hospital after an assault at a residence in West Derby, Liverpool, on 15 October. Merseyside Police responded to a call on Muirhead Avenue at 01:40 BST, where officers discovered Mr Foster suffering from a puncture wound. According to the police force, three men and two women residing in the Liverpool area were apprehended earlier during a series of coordinated raids conducted throughout the city. Two men, aged 56 and 59, face arrest on suspicion of murder, while a third man, aged 58, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Additionally, two women, aged 30 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of murder. Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath issued a statement, saying: “We are still appealing for people who saw or heard something suspicious to please come forward as a matter of urgency.“I ask those who live in the area of Muirhead Avenue to please check your CCTV or doorbell footage to see if it has captured anything which could assist our enquiries.“Muirhead Avenue is a busy main road, so if you were driving past at around the time of the incident, please review your dashcam footage and let us know if you see anything.”
