Firefighters deployed hoses and elevated platforms to address a chimney blaze within a Kent residence on Wednesday evening. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to East Hill, located in Dartford, following reports of a chimney fire at a private dwelling. Personnel utilized three fire engines, a “height vehicle”, a hose reel jet, and specialized chimney firefighting equipment to extinguish the flames. To ensure the safety of the area, firefighters extracted loose masonry from the chimney stack. No injuries were documented, and the fire is considered to have been accidental.
