Approximately 35 tractors, adorned with Christmas decorations, traversed sections of North Yorkshire to collect funds for a charitable cause. The Tinsel Tractor Run commenced its journey from Ripon around 15:00 GMT on Saturday, proceeding through Bishop Monkton, Boroughbridge, and Skelton, and concluding its route back at Ripon Market Square at approximately 18:00 GMT. Along the designated path, volunteers gathered contributions, with aspirations of accumulating around £2,000 for Yorkshire Cancer Research in Harrogate. Brian Chandler, representing the Tinsel Tractor Run, confirmed that the event proceeded notwithstanding the wet and windy weather conditions associated with Storm Darragh. In a statement made on Saturday morning, he remarked: “We are still going ahead, it’s very dry and mild and we are good to go.” “We’re all looking forward to it, some guys who don’t have cabs on their tractors might be a bit apprehensive, but you’ve got to do it.” He subsequently added: “Last year we only had 20 tractors and we raised £1,640.” “This year we are trying to rase £2,000.” Post navigation Efforts to Encourage Electric Car Purchases Amid Industry Concerns Two Hospitalized with Serious Injuries Following Quad Bike Crash
