Over 8,000 individuals participated in this year’s city Santa Dash, an event where rugby star Kevin Sinfield also initiated his latest significant fundraiser. Under sunny conditions, entrants, dressed in red and blue Santa suits, ran the annual 5k route along Liverpool’s waterfront. The funds collected are designated for local medical services, including Alder Hey Hospital, Claire House, and North West Air Ambulance. Football stars from both Liverpool and Everton clubs joined Sinfield at the event. There, he launched his fifth annual fundraiser, a 230-mile nationwide run scheduled over seven days, with the objective of confronting the impact of motor neurone disease (MND).
