A woman has been admitted to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Aberdeen. The occurrence took place on Whinhill Road in the city shortly before 11:20. Police Scotland reported that officers were dispatched following notification of a collision involving a car and a female pedestrian. The road was subsequently closed. The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed: “We dispatched one ambulance, one special operations response team (SORT), and one trauma team to the scene.
