Fatal single-vehicle collision in Strabane claims man’s life

A man has passed away following a single-vehicle collision in Strabane, County Tyrone, on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Eoin Lynch, aged 29, from the Castlederg area. Police received a notification just before 07:40 GMT regarding an incident on Orchard Road involving a white Toyota Land Cruiser. Mr. Lynch, who was an occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was temporarily closed, with diversions put in place, but has since been reopened. Authorities have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or possesses dashcam footage to contact them. Meanwhile, a man was transported to hospital with serious injuries following a separate crash in Cookstown, also located in County Tyrone. This two-car collision occurred at approximately 01:40 GMT on Sunday morning on Drumgrass Road. Several other individuals sustained minor injuries.
