A pedestrian has died following a collision with a vehicle on a principal thoroughfare in Worthing. The incident occurred on Wednesday at 20:00 GMT, on the A27 Arundel Road, in the vicinity of Teign Walk. Sussex Police confirmed that a 69-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The A27 was closed in both directions for a period of several hours. Authorities stated they are conducting investigations to ascertain the full details surrounding the collision and have issued an appeal for witnesses or individuals possessing dashcam recordings to come forward.
