A collision involving a car and a coach resulted in the death of a woman in her 20s and serious injuries to a man in his 30s. Emergency services were called to the B4208 Blackmore Park Road near Welland at 15:21 GMT on Tuesday. The female passenger of the car, a black BMW, was pronounced dead at the scene, West Mercia Police said. One man, the driver of the car, was in a critical condition and was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for specialist treatment. Another man, the coach driver, was assessed by ambulance staff at the scene but chose not to go to hospital. There were no passengers on the coach. West Mercia Police said they would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who might have dashcam footage.
