Information presented at an inquest has revealed that a mother and her two teenage children, who were found deceased in a tower block flat, succumbed to gunshot wounds. Nicholas Prosper, 18, has been charged with three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of his mother, Juliana Falcon, 48; his brother, Kyle Prosper, 16; and his sister, Giselle Prosper, 13, which took place at their residence in Leabank, Marsh Farm, Luton, on 13 September. During the commencement of an inquest into these fatalities, Emma Whiting, the senior coroner for Bedfordshire, stated that all three victims “had been shot in the head.” Identification of their bodies did not occur until 25 September. The proceedings for the inquest, held in Ampthill, were postponed to a future date that remains undetermined. In the previous month, Mr. Prosper was ordered to remain in custody. He is scheduled to appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Luton Crown Court on 5 December. A tentative trial date has been established for March.
