A man has lost his life following a collision in Leicestershire involving a car and a heavy goods vehicle with a trailer. Leicestershire Police confirmed that officers were dispatched to a section of the A447 Hinckley Road at Cadeby, situated near Market Bosworth, at 12:36 GMT on Thursday. The police force stated that a man in his 50s, identified as the driver of a black BMW, was pronounced deceased at the location. Subsequently, a 46-year-old man has been apprehended on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is presently held in police custody.
