An individual in his eighties passed away after being struck by a Land Rover. Dorset Police stated that the man was hit by the black 4×4 vehicle on the A35 Barrack Road, in the vicinity of the Bailey Roundabout in Christchurch, shortly before 17:40 GMT on Tuesday. The local resident was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. His family has been informed. The police force has appealed for anyone with relevant information, including mobile phone, dashcam, or CCTV footage, to come forward.
