A pedestrian lost their life following an incident where they were struck by a vehicle on the A38, in the vicinity of Tewkesbury. According to Gloucestershire Constabulary, the crash took place on Tuesday around 16:50 GMT, on a section of the road near the village of Deerhurst Walton. Despite the deployment of an air ambulance, the individual, identified as a man in his 60s, succumbed to his injuries at the site of the accident. His family members have been notified and are receiving assistance from an officer of Gloucestershire Police. The occupants of the car involved, a Honda Civic, did not suffer any injuries, as reported by the police force. Road closures implemented by police overnight have since been removed. Authorities are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses relevant dashcam footage to come forward and contact the police.
