Following Sunday’s Premier League match between Leicester City and Brighton, supporters were invited to share their perspectives. Below are some of the submitted comments: Leicester City Supporters Vincent: Vincent observed that the team appeared “composed, organised and positive in our play” from the start, performing “on par with a very good Brighton team.” He noted moments that resembled play “under Enzo again.” Vincent acknowledged Brighton’s quality, stating their goals “took the wind out of us.” He praised Ruud’s “astute changes,” which led to the team looking capable of securing a result after Vardy’s goal, adding, “I’m glad I stuck around for it! Brilliant!” Lewis: Lewis described it as a “Great game,” but pointed out a lack of “pace upfront,” which meant “the ball over the top was never on, yet we played it over and over again.” Despite this, he saw “some great football out there.” He highlighted Soumare and El Khannouss for playing “amazing – tracking back and winning it back.” Defensively, Lewis felt Kristiansen “did not do very well with two goals from the left side, though he was played quite high up.” He concluded that the team “fought to the end and got a point.” Steve: Steve asserted that “If we had 12 Jamie Vardys we’d be regularly winning the Champions League.” He called Vardy “a genius and next to Gordon Banks a deserved club legend.” Brighton & Hove Albion Supporters Tim: Tim expressed frustration, stating that “To throw away a two-goal lead to a bottom six side late on – yet again – is a sign of a poorly coached side unfortunately.” He criticized Hurzeler, claiming he “is not learning from mistakes and is too naive for the Premier League.” Ben: Ben believed that “Taking off Ayari and Mitoma was an error,” leading to the team losing “control and gave away two more points.” He commented that the team is “looking more like Spurs each day- brilliant one moment but with a soft belly.” James: James argued that for the team to be “serious about becoming a team who consistently challenges for European spots then we need to weed out the individual mistakes and complacency that has caused us to throw away two-goal leads to Wolves and Leicester, as well as drawing with lowly Ipswich and Southampton.” He added that while “Beating City, United and Spurs is all well and good but the results against teams we’re expected to beat need to follow as well.”
