The relatives of a 16-year-old boy, James Gibbons, who has been missing for seven days, have requested that individuals review their dashcams, ring doorbells, and CCTV systems for any sightings of him. James was last observed in Cuxton, Medway, around 12:50 GMT on Saturday, November 9. According to Kent Police, he was reportedly seen entering an alleyway situated off Woodhurst Close, heading towards Cuxton Woods. In a public statement, James’s family implored him to “please come home,” conveying that “everyone is missing you.” His description includes being 5ft 11ins (180cm) tall, having brown hair, wearing braces on his teeth, and possessing a scar on the right side of the back of his head, which is characterized as resembling a question mark. His family extended gratitude to all individuals participating in the search efforts, encompassing both professional personnel and volunteers. They stated, “We cannot express how grateful we are to you all.” James was reportedly dressed in brown tracksuit bottoms, a grey zipped hooded top, a white shirt featuring a light brown and blue chequered pattern, black socks, and black trainers. He urged anyone who utilizes these areas to remain vigilant for any information or objects that could assist the investigation. Cook further stated: “Regardless of the time that has passed, we are hopeful of reuniting James with his family and we have a large number of dedicated search officers and partner agencies committed to finding him.” In their appeal, James’s family conveyed: “Please could we ask you all to check your dashcams, ring doorbells and CCTV for any footage of James.” They also directly addressed James: “James, if you receive this message, please come home. Everyone is missing you and we love you dearly. You are not in any trouble. Love you lots.”
