The relatives of a man who passed away after being struck by a bus in Aberdeenshire have honored him, describing him as an “amazing dad” with “a heart of gold.” Andrew Jackson, an Aberdeen resident, was involved in a collision near Toll of Birness, at the junction of the A952 and A90, around 2:10 PM on Tuesday 8 October. Law enforcement responded to the incident, and Mr. Jackson was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The 45-year-old succumbed to his injuries in the hospital three weeks subsequent to the event, on Tuesday 29 October. His family released a statement, stating: “Andrew was a beloved partner to Andrea, an amazing dad to Ritchie and Andrew and a cherished son of Margaret and Eddie.“Loved always and forever in our hearts.“Andrew was a wonderful person with the biggest smile and a heart of gold.
