Law enforcement officials have informed the family of a 73-year-old woman, who had been reported missing, about the discovery of a body at a dock. Norfolk Police indicated that while formal identification has not yet occurred, the relatives of Mary White, who disappeared in September, have been notified. The body was located at Bentinck Dock in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, by a member of the public just before 11:00 GMT on Thursday. Officers from the police and the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service responded to the scene. Ms White was last observed at her residence on Nelson Avenue, in Downham Market, Norfolk, before her disappearance in late September. CCTV footage showed her walking along a street in her pyjamas at 03:31 BST on Wednesday, September 25. No suspicious circumstances are currently believed to be involved, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
