Family of 18-year-old killed in crash states he ‘died doing what he loved’

The family of an 18-year-old fatally injured in a motorbike collision has described him as a “force of nature” and a “fierce protector.” Lancashire Police stated that Patrick Sawicki “had come off his motorbike” in the crash on Navigation Way, Preston, just before 16:00 GMT on Sunday, and he died at the scene. In a released statement, his relatives conveyed: “At 18, Patrick lived more in his years than most could hope for in a lifetime.” Law enforcement officials have requested that anyone who observed the incident or possesses footage of it come forward.
