The Cornish Pirates have secured Exeter forward Martin Moloney on a short-term loan agreement. Moloney previously made 11 appearances for Leinster before his move to Exeter during the summer. The 24-year-old Irish player joined the Chiefs (Exeter) this season, following a summer trial period with the Premiership club. The former Leinster back-row player is joining the squad to provide injury cover and is expected to make his first appearance for the Pirates this Saturday against Coventry. This season, he has featured in five substitute appearances for Exeter, with two in the Premiership and three in the Premiership Rugby Cup. One of these appearances included a match against the Pirates last month.
