He also stated plans to provide for his family and “help his children.” Separately, another man from the same county, referred to as Mr M by a lottery spokesperson, also claimed a £1 million win. His plans include a family vacation and the acquisition of a new car. Mr G’s prize was secured on November 22, while Mr M’s win occurred on October 25. Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, commented that Essex was “clearly the place to be” for millionaire making”.
