Authorities have reported that an entrepreneur, who was preparing for fatherhood, passed away following a triple shooting incident in south London. Curtis Green, aged 30, sustained fatal injuries on Wells Park Road in Sydenham around 10:00 GMT on Sunday. Despite receiving treatment for gunshot wounds at the location, he succumbed to his injuries a brief period later. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a woman and an additional individual were transported to a hospital for gunshot wounds, which were determined not to be life-threatening. Mr. Green operated both a clothing brand and a fitness enterprise. His family characterized him as “happy, excited and beautiful.” Investigators have issued an appeal for information from individuals who attended a party on Hensford Gardens the preceding night, which they suspect Mr. Green also attended. Detective Chief Inspector Samantha Townsend stated: “Three people were shot, and sadly one has lost their life. We have been working tirelessly in order to establish the circumstances.” Prior to the incident, some local residents informed the BBC that they had heard screaming and shouting in the vicinity, and that a party had been ongoing nearby throughout the night. The Met reported that no arrests have been made in connection with the case to date. Mr. Green’s family disclosed that he was expecting to become a father within five months. The police force further indicated that specialist officers are providing support to his family.
