Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed that mobile coverage has been extended to the entirety of the Elizabeth line. Passengers are now able to utilize 4G services across Britain’s newest railway, with 5G signal also introduced in the tunnelled sections located between Paddington and Abbey Wood. In central London, the Elizabeth line now ranks behind only the Northern and Central lines in terms of the number of stations equipped with mobile coverage. London’s transport commissioner, Andy Lord, remarked: “I’m delighted that the entire Elizabeth line now has mobile coverage, making it even easier for customers to stay connected especially as we approach the festive period.”
