A 20-year-old man has died following a collision with a car in Edinburgh. The pedestrian was hit by a grey Volvo XC60 on Dundee Street, Fountainbridge, at approximately 17:30 on Sunday. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, a 51-year-old man, was arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently released. Police have commenced an investigation to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the crash, and individuals with information are encouraged to contact them.
