A motorcyclist has tragically died following a collision in East Yorkshire. Karen Smith, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, which involved her motorbike and a car. The crash occurred on the A1033, specifically at its junction with Thorn Road, near the village of Thorngumbald. Humberside Police reported that the driver and passenger of the car involved were transported to hospital, where they received medical attention for minor injuries. The police force has issued an appeal for any witnesses to the incident, as well as for individuals who may possess dashcam footage. The collision took place at approximately 17:15 GMT on Wednesday.
