Approximately 150 tractors, decorated with Christmas lights, participated in a procession across the Yorkshire Wolds. The vehicles began their route in Driffield, traversing through Wilfred Scruton, Wold Newton, Hunmanby, Burton Fleming, Rudston, Kilham, Langtoft, and Foxholes. Nicola Knaggs, one of the event’s organisers, mentioned that some drivers spent hundreds of pounds to make their tractors look “absolutely brilliant.” The event, held on Sunday, successfully raised funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Kilham Playing Field Association. Ms. Knaggs emphasized the vital importance of the air ambulance to the community. She stated: “We all, unfortunately, know of someone who’s probably had to use that service, whether it’s friends, family or our neighbours or someone within our community. So it really is a vital service to our area, and something that we need funds for.” Post navigation Community Coffee Shop Reaches Major Fundraising Milestone Art Collection Described as ‘Spectacular’ Sells for £169,000
