Residents in Louth will have the opportunity to obtain guidance on staying warm this winter at an upcoming drop-in session. East Lindsey District Council is organizing the event, which will occur on Wednesday, offering residents a chance to inquire about grants and funding options, methods for reducing energy bills, and mental health advice. The session is set to run from 10:00 to 14:00 GMT at the Trinity Centre on Eastgate. Councillor Graham Marsh, the portfolio holder responsible for community safety, leisure and culture, and carbon reduction, commented: “With the temperatures falling at this time of year, I am delighted the council’s sustainable warmth team is hosting an event, allowing anyone to access the support they need.” Marsh further added: “If you or a loved one are worried about the coming winter months, please consider taking advantage of the help and advice this event has to offer.” Groups such as the Lincolnshire Good Home Alliance and Wellbeing Lincolnshire are slated to attend the event, which will also feature demonstrations of technologies like solar panels, heat pumps, and insulation.
