Production for the upcoming season of the Apple TV+ series “Slow Horses” has resulted in the closure of a bowling alley and a section of a town center parking facility. Central Bedfordshire Council verified that film crews would occupy the car park adjacent to Go Bowling in Dunstable, with filming scheduled to continue through Sunday. The bowling establishment announced its complete closure for the duration of the filming, with reopening planned for Monday. According to BBC information, the location is reportedly being converted into a casino. Representatives for the production have chosen not to provide a statement. Signage guiding crew members to the “Embankment” set, the recurring production code name for the series, is visible throughout Dunstable. The spy thriller, adapted from Mick Herron’s novels, features Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, and Kristin Scott Thomas in starring roles. While Gary Oldman is not anticipated to film scenes at this specific site, other actors from the series cast might participate.
