Duke and Duchess of Sussex release Christmas card featuring children’s image

The official Christmas card from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex includes a seldom-seen photograph of their two children. This image is one of six featured on the card, which conveys the message: “We wish you a very happy holiday season”. In one of the photographs, Prince Archie, aged 5, and Princess Lilibet, aged 3, are depicted with their backs to the camera, approaching their parents, who are shown welcoming them with smiles and open arms. The couple has maintained a private profile for their two young children, and their faces are not visible in this particular image. Additionally, the card displays Meghan embracing a young girl and Prince Harry holding the hand of a man who is in bed. The Sussexes relinquished their roles as senior royals in January 2020. Although they retain their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they are no longer referred to as His or Her Royal Highness (HRH). They relocated to California in June 2020, preceding Lilibet’s birth in 2021, and currently do not possess an official residence in the UK. The couple established the Archewell Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to a mission of “show up, do good.” Their media enterprise, Archewell Productions, produces content for Netflix as part of an agreement reportedly valued at millions of dollars.
