A man has been prohibited from driving after colliding with vehicles and causing injury to a member of the public at a car meet event. Milosz Sobiechowski, 22, of Selley Walk, Bishopsworth, Bristol, received a sentence for dangerous driving at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, October 18. The red BMW he was operating at the gathering on September 30, 2023, on the Hawksworth Industrial Estate in Swindon, struck several parked cars and resulted in one individual sustaining minor injuries. PC Beales, a roads policing officer with Wiltshire Police, characterized Sobiechowski’s actions as “incredibly dangerous”. Furthermore, the vehicle was discovered to possess multiple hazardous defects and alterations, leading to its prohibition from road use, according to police statements. In addition to the 12-month driving disqualification, Sobiechowski was mandated to complete 200 hours of unpaid community service within the upcoming year and to remit a surcharge of £114.
