A man lost his life following a collision involving a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and the Ford Fiesta he was operating. The incident occurred on Tuesday around 15:15 GMT on the A6, specifically near the Wreay turn-off, situated between Carlisle and Penrith. According to Cumbria Police, the man, identified as being in his 30s, was declared deceased at the site of the collision. The individual driving the lorry sustained no injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the collision and have issued an appeal for any witnesses or individuals with relevant information to come forward and contact them.
