Police officers have labeled a man’s actions as “deplorable” after he was observed recording a medical emergency on his mobile phone while driving. Leicestershire Police reported that a woman experienced a medical episode on Burton Street, Melton Mowbray, at approximately 13:45 GMT on Tuesday, and a passing motorist “thought it would be a good idea to film this”. The driver was subsequently stopped and issued a traffic offence report. This report could lead to six points being added to his licence and a £200 fine. In a post on social media, the force stated that filming the “busy and distressing scene” was a “deplorable thing to do”. They further added: “Hopefully this post acts as a reminder to those who think this type of behaviour is acceptable. “Have some respect for other people and concentrate on driving correctly.”” Post navigation Man Charged After Infant’s Death in Road Accident Police Warn of Thefts by Impersonating Carol Singers with Children
