Dorset’s Daily Image Feature: Submission Guidelines

Viewers are invited to daily appreciate Dorset’s scenic beauty through photographs submitted by the public. Images can be submitted via BBC Weather Watchers or by emailing southweather@bbc.co.uk. To submit a photograph, individuals can use BBC Weather Watchers or send an email to southweather@bbc.co.uk. Guidance and inspiration are available from three of England’s Big Picture photographers. When submitting pictures via email, it is requested that specific information be included. Although all submissions are welcome, there is a higher likelihood of using images captured within the preceding week. An archive of pictures is accessible on Instagram using the hashtags #bbcdorset and #DorsetsBigPicture. Submitting a picture signifies agreement with the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. By contributing to Dorset’s Big Picture, contributors grant a royalty-free, non-exclusive license for the material to be published and utilized as desired, across all media globally. It is important to note that contributors retain copyright ownership of their submissions to Dorset’s Big Picture. If an image is selected for publication, the contributor’s name will be included.
