Don Cowie has addressed the media in advance of Ross County’s Scottish Premiership away fixture against Celtic this weekend. Regarding the recent victory over Motherwell, which marked their first win in four games, Cowie described it as an “important victory for us, it comes at a really good time”. The Ross County manager is now preparing for “two really difficult games,” beginning with an away match at Celtic Park, followed by a home fixture against Rangers in Dingwall. He further stated: “That’s why we worked as hard as we did last year, we want to be facing these teams, we want to be in the Premiership.” Cowie commended his team’s “belief,” noting that the Staggies have “proven we’re a really strong team, especially here in Dingwall.” He expressed a desire for his squad to “replicate that away from home.” For the match at Celtic Park, he expects County to demonstrate “bravery and togetherness” and hopes they can “stand up to the challenge” presented by the league leaders.
