A dog attack in a Fenland town has led to two women being hospitalized with serious injuries. Cambridgeshire Police reported that the incident, which involved a mixed-breed dog, took place at approximately 10.45 GMT on Sunday on Papworth Road, March. The women were transported to Peterborough City Hospital, having sustained bite injuries described as serious but not life-threatening. A man who intervened to help control the dog suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment. Following its seizure by police, the dog was put down. The force stated that the animal was not thought to have been covered by dangerous dog legislation.
