A charity fashion show, featuring designs by Stuart Trevor, a designer known for creating outfits for iconic rock bands, is scheduled to occur at a prominent Sussex landmark. Mr. Trevor, whose work includes clothing for The Who, The Kings of Leon, The Libertines, and Kasabian, will present his sustainable fashion collection at Brighton i360 in May. The event aims to generate funds to address homelessness within the city. Mr. Trevor commented, “Brighton holds a special place in my heart as the location of one of my first stores.” A significant portion of the proceeds from the evening will be allocated to The Charity Shop Gift Card Initiative. This initiative supports the homeless community through donations of charity shop gift cards. A spokesperson confirmed that The Homelessness & Rough Sleepers Network will distribute these cards to the most vulnerable individuals in Brighton & Hove. Mr. Trevor’s most recent label focuses on repurposing garments that would otherwise end up in landfills. It transforms items that are end-of-range, unsold, or preloved into new, stylish pieces. In a released statement, he articulated: “By addressing the fashion industry’s waste crisis the designs showcase how sustainable choices can help reduce your wardrobe’s carbon footprint, without sacrificing style.” Discussing the upcoming event, Mr. Trevor remarked: “To now return and showcase my sustainable fashion line at the i360, an attraction that mirrors my commitment to innovation and sustainability, feels like coming full circle.” The event is set to take place at Brighton i360 on 17 May.
